As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you'll play a key role in ensuring repair work is accurately assessed and efficiently managed from estimate through to completion. You'll work closely with technicians, insurers and customers to deliver an outstanding repair process while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:- Accurately assessing vehicle damage and preparing detailed repair estimates.
- Liaising with customers, insurance companies and third-party engineers throughout the repair process.
- Identifying repair methods, replacement parts and labour requirements.
- Monitoring repairs to ensure work is completed in line with estimates and manufacturer standards.
- Working closely with the workshop team to ensure repairs are completed efficiently.
- Managing repair costs while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.
- Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and in line with industry requirements.
- Delivering excellent customer service from vehicle inspection through to repair completion.
We're looking for an experienced professional who has previously worked within a busy Bodyshop or accident repair centre.
You'll ideally have:- Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator / Bodyshop Estimator.
- ATA accreditation (advantageous but not essential).
- Strong knowledge of modern vehicle repair methods and estimating systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to prioritise workload and work effectively within a fast-paced environment.
- A keen eye for detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality standards.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Previous experience within a Bodyshop or accident repair centre.
