The Role
Academics is working closely with a friendly and well-run primary school in the Ellesmere Port area to recruit a Level 3 qualified EYFS Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an early-years setting that prioritises nurturing relationships, child development and positive early learning experiences.

You will be working alongside an experienced class teacher to support pupils within the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping to create a safe, engaging and stimulating learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support learning and development across the EYFS curriculum
Work with individuals and small groups to promote progress
Assist with observations, assessments and learning journals
Help maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment
Support children's personal, social and emotional development
Follow safeguarding and early years policies at all times

The Ideal Candidate
You will:
✔ Hold a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant / Childcare qualification (essential)
✔ Have experience working within EYFS (nursery or reception)
✔ Be nurturing, patient and enthusiastic
✔ Have good communication and teamwork skills
✔ Be committed to safeguarding and child development
