Pay: £90 - £110 (dependent on role and experience)

Academics is supporting a welcoming primary school in the Ellesmere Port area that is looking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role would suit someone who enjoys being hands‑on in the classroom and supporting pupils throughout the school day.

You’ll work closely with class teachers and other support staff to help pupils stay engaged, confident and ready to learn.

• Supporting pupils in class, in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
• Helping prepare classroom resources and learning activities
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
• Supporting children with routines, transitions and independence
• Assisting with playground and lunchtime supervision when required

• Friendly, inclusive primary school with a strong sense of community

You will ideally:

• Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant or Childcare qualification
• Have experience working with primary-aged children
• Be patient, reliable and approachable
• Be confident supporting learning and behaviour
• Enjoy working as part of a team
