Year 2 is a pivotal year-where foundations are secured, confidence grows, and pupils prepare for the transition into KS2. Academics is working with inclusive, well-led primary schools in Ellesmere Port and the surrounding area seeking a patient, enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher who understands the importance of strong early learning experiences.

This role is ideal for teachers who value nurture alongside high expectations.

👩‍🏫👨‍🏫 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You will be someone who:

Holds QTS or an equivalent UK teaching qualification
Has experience in KS1, particularly as a Year 2 Teacher (or relevant placements)
Delivers structured, engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum
Supports pupils with phonics, reading, writing, and maths
Creates a calm, positive classroom where pupils feel secure and motivated
