£450-£475 per week depending on experience

About the role:
Connex Education are working with a SEND School in Ellesmere Port who cater for pupils aged 9-16 years with social, emotional, mental health needs. They are looking for a TA to join their team on a full-time basis.
About the School:
The School offers an individualised curriculum through 3 clear pathways, regulating and supporting pupils in their learning. As a SEMH TA at this School, you will positively engage and adopt trauma informed practises to support SEMH learners.
Assignment details:
This is a full-time role and will commence asap. This will consist of working Monday-Friday 8.30am until 3.30pm. There is chance of a direct contract for the right candidate. This is ideal for a TA who has experience of supporting SEMH pupils and who want to make a difference in a positive learning environment.

Person specification:
- Experience of supporting pupils with SEMH.
- Be understanding and empathetic with the ability to help pupils self
-regulate. - Using a trauma informed approach when managing challenging behaviour.
- Promoting life skills and empowering pupils by building confidence.
- Be willing to support forest school and outdoor pursuit curriculum.
- Be willing to work as a team and collaborate with families to implement behaviour management strategies.
- Able to provide a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
