Working Hours

8.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am 3.30pm on Fridays.

Elan Homes Holdings is making waves in the homebuilding industry, constructing new homes across the Midlands, North West, South West England, and North Wales. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a confident and ambitious Senior Development Engineer to play a key role in our exciting journey.

Reporting to the Northern Regional Head of Technical, you will be instrumental in obtaining and reviewing the design and construction aspects of highways, drainage, services, groundwork, landscaping, infrastructure, and associated ancillary works on housing developments throughout the Northern Region. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that all construction adheres to specified standards, stays within budget, and achieves adoption by relevant authorities or seamless handover to private management companies.

• Proven experience in a similar role within the Construction Industry.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with Consultants, Statutory Bodies, and Subcontractors.
• In-depth knowledge of site development and the Road & Sewer adoption process.
• A Degree or equivalent in civil engineering or a related construction field.
• Proficiency in AUTOCAD and Microsoft Office packages.
• Flexibility for travel to sites within the Northern Region.
