Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer – FMCG
Salary: £42,000 to £48,000 + Full Benefits Package
Location:
Ellesmere Port
Shift Pattern:
Double Days
- Week 1 - 6am-2:30pm
- Week 2 - Monday - Thursday 1:30pm-10:30pm / Fridays 1:30pm-8pm

Key Skills- Apprentice Trained Engineer in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience of Packaging systems & Automated machinery
- Understanding of PPM systems
- Attend breakdowns, identify faults and problem solve, with minimal downtime to production.
- Carry out diagnosis of faults, the maintenance, and repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a safe, timely and professional manner and return equipment to operational service.
- Ensure all maintenance work is carried out with due regard to the safety of employees adhering to relevant regulations.
- Provide reactive and planned maintenance.
- Report breakdown causes, equipment faults and concerns to management.
- Assist with the moving, installation, repositioning of machines and equipment.
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules as necessary.
- Plan and prioritise workload to support production and ensure efficient use of working time.
- Complete Daily Maintenance job sheets and Preventative Maintenance records.
- To help build and maintain a cost-effective spare parts store.
