You will be part of the Transport Scheduling Team, an integral part of the Boughey operation, planning multiple customer orders into consolidated loads achieving both efficient and customer lead times based out of our Wardle site in Nantwich.

• £29,575.91 per annum
• Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week

• Maintain consistent communication with drivers and depot staff reporting any issues to the Planning Manager
• Administer customer requirements in a timely and controlled manner, ensuring compliance with the contractual obligations between Boughey and its customers, is adhered to whilst prioritising the highest level of customer service
• Scheduling of multiple customer orders in specific UK Geographical areas and producing daily cost-effective loads
• Liaising with Boughey Customers taking the lead on their orders to ensure timely delivery adhering to lead time requirements
• Planning appropriate delivery channel dependent on order type or quantity.
• Recording in SAP all relevant communication to create an audit trail to defend customer claims

• Previous experience working as a Transport Planner/Scheduler in a fast-paced environment
• Good UK geographical knowledge and understanding of transport operating systems
• Commercially aware, customer centric and proactive
• Organised with the ability to multitask responsibilities in order of priority, work to deadlines and on own initiative
• PC literate, experience of SAP would be advantageous
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• A logical thinker who is resilient and works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and listens actively, asks questions, clarifies points and rephrases others’ statements to check mutual understanding
