This allows the team to source competitive and tailored mortgage deals that meet a variety of client needs. Applicants will join an organization focused on helping customers navigate complex mortgage and protection decisions with confidence.
The Mortgage Protection Case Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Ellesmere Port. The role involves managing mortgage protection cases from initial application through to completion, ensuring all documentation is accurate, compliant, and submitted within required timelines. The case manager will liaise daily with clients,, insurers, and internal teams to provide updates, resolve queries, and move cases forward efficiently. Responsibilities include reviewing protection requirements, preparing and checking application packs, monitoring underwriting progress, and proactively identifying any issues that could delay the process.
The role also involves maintaining detailed records in the case management system, supporting advisers with case preparation, and contributing to a high standard of customer experience and service delivery.
- Completing Recommendation reports for Protection sales
- Completing submissions with compliance for all Protection sales
- Chasing GP reports back from surgeries
- Keeping track of mortgage completion dates
- Checking in with insurers for decisions on applications
- Booking in 12-month reviewswith clients
- Strong case management and administrative skills, including accurate data entry, document handling, and time management.
- Customer service and communication abilities, with confidence in speaking with clients and third parties by phone, email, and in person.
- Knowledge of mortgages, protection products, and the end-to-end application process is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to interpret and work with financial documents, provider requirements, and compliance guidelines.
- Proficiency with common office software and CRM or case management systems.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the capacity to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
- Previous experience in mortgage administration, protection case management, or financial services support is highly desirable but again not essential.
