Due to a retirement we are seeking expressions of interest for full‑time or part‑time work (minimum 22.5hrs per week). Shortlisting is to commence on 09/03/2026 with interviews scheduled for 24/03/2026.

Main Duties

We are looking for Registered Nurses and Allied Health Professionals, particularly those with experience in mental health, learning disability, CAMHS or community nursing. The role supports Clinical teams across our Care Groups by designing, delivering and evaluating coaching interventions at the point of care, using a coaching approach to foster sustainable benefits for patients and service users.

Ideal candidates have recent experience managing clinical teams and working in a learning and development context. The post holder will act as a change agent, driving a patient‑centred, solution‑focused, dynamic working culture.

Person Specification Essential – Qualifications
  • RNMH or AHP (experience in mental health settings)
  • Degree or equivalent experience
  • PG qualification in mentorship or equivalent
  • Adult education qualification or equivalent experience
  • Coaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
Desirable – Qualifications
  • NMP qualification
  • Venepuncture trained, ECG trained
  • PGCE (professional) or equivalent
  • L5 Coaching qualification or above
Essential – Knowledge and Expertise
  • Understanding of a facilitative approach to learning and creating a sustainable learning environment
  • Professional role model, understanding of the NMC / relevant professional bodies’ regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge and experience of coaching in practice
  • Evidence of delivery of continued professional development
  • Experienced, competent user of MS Office
Desirable – Knowledge and Expertise
  • Experience of training and teaching clinical professionals
  • Experienced coach
  • Experience of online learning programmes (e.g. Web Ex)
Essential – Experience
  • Extensive recent experience in specialty, including significant recent experience in managing or supervising a clinical team
  • Autonomous worker, able to set and achieve goals
  • Experience of supporting clinical change
Desirable – Experience
  • Experience gained over multiple disciplines
  • Experience of coaching in a clinical setting
  • Experience of leading significant end‑to‑end change processes
