The RoleWe are currently looking to add to a well established team of Mooring Assistants based in Stanlow/Tranmere. The role of a Mooring Assistant is to undertake and assist with mooring activities at Stanlow Oil Refinery on the Manchester Ship Canal.
Principal Responsibilities- Mooring and unmooring of vessels of all sizes.
- Assisting with Connection / dis-connection of Tranmere Tankers
- Additional training and opportunities for maintenance work around site
- Oil spill response training and exercises
- Connecting and disconnecting loading arms, hoses and spool pieces
You will be self motivated and confident in your own ability to train and undertake responsibilities required. This is an ad-hoc zero hours contract so you must be flexible with working hours to assist with the operation when required. Excellent opportunity to join the team on a permanent basis or if looking for extra working hours then this would be of interest.
