Production Operative
Location:
- Ellesmere Port
Pay Rate:
- £13.71 per hour
Shifts:
- Night Shift (20.45- 06.00) (4 nights a week)
Type:
- Temp to perm
Russell Taylor are recruiting for two Production Operatives on behalf of a busy and growing manufacturing company in Ellesmere Port. This is an exciting time to join the business as they are going through extensive expansion plans, with the role turning permanent. An initial induction will take place before commencing the work and full training will be provided.
The Role
· Operate production and finishing machinery
· Load raw materials into machines and safely remove completed products.
· Pack, palletise, label and wrap finished goods ready for dispatch.
· Perform routine quality checks, including measurements, print quality and identifying any defects.
· Complete accurate production and downtime records.
· Maintain a clean, tidy and organised working environment in line with 5S standards.
· Adhere to all health and safety requirements, including the correct use of PPE.
· Assist with machine changeovers and basic equipment set-ups following training.
· Follow production instructions and work efficiently to achieve daily targets.
The Person
· Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred but not essential.
· A good eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
· A reliable, hardworking attitude.
· The ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
· A willingness to learn new skills and work rotating day shifts.
