Paediatric Nurse Specialist Continence / Clinical Lead

We require an experienced, knowledgeable, registered nurse who is able to work autonomously, making high level decisions.
Providing a nurse-led children's continence clinic in the community from first assessment through to examination, investigation, diagnosis, treatment and follow‑up.
Supporting children and young people, their parents/guardians, nursery nurses, health visitors, school nurses, education and social care staff in promoting continence.
The post holder will monitor and report effectiveness of the service against agreed targets and be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of service initiatives.
This post is part time 22.5 hours per week.
Main duties of the jobAs a Specialist Paediatric Nurse you will work across the West Cheshire Footprint, as part of a Multiprofessional team. This includes nurses, nurse associates, nursery nurses, healthcare workers and a team of administrators.
This role is responsible for assessing and treating children and young people in a variety of settings including clinic, schools and their home.
Person Specification Qualifications- 1st Level registered nurse qualification
- 1st level Registered Children's Nurse. (Consideration will be given to Registered Nurse with a Health Visiting / School Nursing Qualification
- Non-medical prescriber
- Clinical examination course
- Teaching and assessing or equivalent qualification
- Evidence of being able to work across organisational boundaries
- Experience of applying research evidence to clinical practice
- Previous experience in Continence Care delivery to Children and Young People
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Demonstrates a clear vision of the role and service
- Ability to initiate, sustain and evaluate change
- be able to travel across the geographical area covered by the Trust
- Previous experience in community working
