About the Facility
A 82‑bed nursing home located in Woodchurch, just outside of Birkenhead, providing personalised dementia care.
ResponsibilitiesPromoting the highest standards of clinical nursing throughout the hospital. Overseeing the day‑to‑day care of patients and the administration of required medication. Providing nursing and personal care and promoting residents’ abilities. Planning, implementing, and supervising the provision of quality care. Maintaining required medical documentation. Upholding residents’ rights to privacy, dignity and choice. At a more senior level, leading shifts as well as mentoring and supporting student nurses and other members of the team.
Familiarising oneself with and strictly adhering to company policy, procedure and Care Inspectorate guidelines.
Must be a Registered Nurse with an active PIN, current registration with NMC and experience in the UK. Right to work in the UK. One year’s experience desirable. Compassionate and skilled Registered Mental Nurse with experience is preferred. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, with excellent listening skills. Ability to supervise other staff comfortably and competently. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Ability to remain calm and composed in high‑stress situations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Successful disclosure at a suitable level from DBS and two satisfactory references required.

Benefits- Night shifts, 12‑hour shifts from 8pm to 8am
- Pay rate £19–£20.50 per hour depending on experience
