Quality Manager – Food Manufacturing £36,000 - £42,000  Medical  Free Meals  Company Pension 32 Days Holiday Wrexham Are you an experienced Quality Manager in the Food Manufacturing sector looking for a high-impact role at an unparalleled Food Manufacturing site in the UK, or a Quality Supervisor / Coordinator looking to step into management? This leading Food Manufacturer specialises in ready meal solutions for big supermarkets & food service providers, having over 100 years of history and a strong footprint both globally and in the UK.

They operate several modern production facilities and have benefited from significant investment recently. In this role you will be responsible for leading the QA team and supporting the delivery of the site's food safety, quality and compliance objectives. Working closely with production, technical and operational teams, you will help ensure products consistently meet customer, legal and internal standards while supporting continuous improvement across the factory.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Food Manufacturing QA, with strong knowledge of food safety systems, audits and customer requirements. This position would suit an established Quality Manager, but the business is also keen to speak with ambitious Quality Supervisors or Coordinators who are ready to progress into their first management role. Day-to-day of the role:
Managing, mentoring and developing the Quality Assurance team Supporting the site through customer, retailer and third-party audits Ensuring food safety and quality procedures are consistently followed across production Monitoring HACCP controls, technical systems and compliance activities Investigating quality issues, customer complaints and process deviations Analysing quality data and trends to identify improvement opportunities Working closely with internal departments and external suppliers to maintain high standards across the site The ideal person will have:
Experience in Food Manufacturing Quality Assurance Recent Quality Management experience, or leadership experience gained in a Quality Supervisor or Coordinator role Strong understanding of HACCP, food safety systems and quality management processes Knowledge of BRC standards and customer requirements Experience working with audits, investigations and corrective actions A track record of coaching, developing or supervising people If you are interested in this position, click apply or contact Stuart Goble at Reed.
