Tax Associate

Elite Income Advisors is a dynamic and financial services firm that values accuracy, professionalism, and a client-first approach. We’re currently seeking an accountant professional to support client tax services, and lead our payroll and accounts payable functions.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Tax Associate to join our firm’s account team. The Tax Associate will support tax document preparations, planning, and reporting activities for clients, partnerships, and other entities. This role is ideal for a professional looking to develop their tax experience and contribute to a rapidly growing company.

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and other entities
• Assist with tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with applicable laws
• Support quarterly and annual tax provision calculations and related disclosures
• Assist with responding to tax authority inquiries, audits, and notices
• Maintain accurate tax work papers and documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary tax data
• Stay current on changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards
• Assist with payroll and accounts receivable on a monthly or bi-monthly basis

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of tax or accounting experience (public accounting experience a plus)
• Working knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax regulations
• Proficiency with tax preparation software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

• CPA eligibility or progress toward CPA certification
• Experience with partnership and corporate tax filings
• Familiarity with financial services or investment-related taxation
