Automotive Technician – J.B.A. INFINITI of Ellicott City

Base pay: $25.00/hr – $38.00/hr (based on experience and skills). Additional benefits include health, dental, vision, life/AD&D, 401(k), PTO, and more.

Ellicott City, MD

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
• Test‑drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools and service equipment to test components and systems.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed of additional services needed.
• Provide estimates of time for additional repairs.
• Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.

• 1‑5 years of automotive technician experience (preferred).
• ASE certification (preferred).
• Strong diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair skills.
• Knowledge of new vehicle technologies.
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and learn new technology, repair, and service procedures.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• High school diploma or GED (minimum).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
