Part-Time Mandarin Teacher – Montessori Preschool

Bambini Montessori Academy is urgently seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and experienced Part-Time Mandarin Teacher to introduce young learners to the beauty of Mandarin and Chinese culture through engaging, interactive, and age-appropriate lessons.

• Position: Part-Time Mandarin Teacher

• Pay Rate: $25 per hour

• Schedule: Approximately 10 hours per week

• Age Group: Children ages 2–5

• Locations: Must be willing to travel between our preschool locations as needed

Make language learning exciting, interactive, and memorable! Your responsibilities will include:

• Teach Mandarin with Creativity: Introduce children to Mandarin vocabulary, pronunciation, and basic language skills through fun, age-appropriate lessons.

• Bring Culture to Life: Incorporate Chinese songs, stories, games, movement, and cultural activities into your lessons.

• Inspire Young Learners: Create a positive, welcoming, and engaging environment that encourages curiosity, participation, and confidence.

• Support Montessori Learning: Collaborate with classroom teachers to complement the Montessori environment and children's developmental needs.

• Make Every Lesson Meaningful: Use hands-on activities and playful learning experiences to help children enjoy discovering a new language.

Required Qualifications:

• Previous experience teaching Mandarin is required.

• Fluency in Mandarin is required; native or near-native proficiency is preferred.

• A genuine passion for teaching and working with young children.

• Ability to deliver engaging, age-appropriate language lessons.

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between preschool locations as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with preschool-aged children, especially ages 2–5.

• Previous experience in a Montessori environment is a plus, but not required.

• Earn $25 per hour in a part-time teaching position.

• Share your language skills and cultural knowledge with young learners.

• Help children build early communication skills and develop an appreciation for another culture.
