What you will be doing!
As a Senior Storage Engineer with expertise in Net App solutions, you will focus on leading the migration to Microsoft 365 (M365) and One Drive and managing both cloud-based and on-premises global Net App storage environments.
Deliver simple solutions to complex problems as a One Drive Storage Engineer at Independent Software. You’ll tailor cutting-edge solutions to our clients' needs, prioritize the end user’s experience, and grow your career alongside ours.
Job Description / Requirements- Lead data migration to Microsoft 365 (M365) and One Drive, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
- Design and implement migration strategies adhering to best practices and security standards.
- Manage and maintain global Net App storage solutions, including configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor storage performance and capacity, implementing proactive measures for scalability and reliability.
- Collaborate with teams to gather requirements, define project scopes, and deliver aligned storage solutions.
- Provide technical support for storage issues, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
- Maintain documentation on configurations, procedures, and operational guidelines.
- Enforce data management policies ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends, evaluate, and recommend technology enhancements.
- High School or Equivalent with 19 years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 14 years of experience.
- Expertise in migrating data to M365 and One Drive, with solid understanding of cloud migration methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge of Net App storage systems, including configuration, administration, and performance tuning.
- Proven experience as a Senior Storage Engineer or similar role, with expertise in data replication, backup, and disaster recovery in cloud and on-premises environments.
CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA Security+ certifications required.
Security ClearanceMust possess an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph security clearance.
