Childcare Support Teacher

Overview

At Little Scribbles, we are a loving, Christian-based childcare center dedicated to providing a nurturing, faith-filled environment where children can grow emotionally, spiritually, and developmentally. We strive to help children build a strong foundation of love, respect, and Christian values while supporting their learning journey.

• Assist lead teachers in the Infant, Toddler, and Preschool classrooms as needed.
• Provide supervision and support for children during daily activities, promoting a Christian-based atmosphere.
• Support the implementation of curriculum, classroom activities, and ensuring safety and cleanliness.
• Maintain a loving, respectful, and positive environment for all children.
• Assist with routine tasks such as feeding, diapering, and transitions between activities.
• Encourage social, emotional, and spiritual growth through faith-based activities.
• Communicate effectively with staff, children, and parents.
• Promote a safe and clean classroom environment, following all center guidelines and protocols.

• Experience in childcare or a related field is preferred but not required.
• A heart for children and a passion for supporting their faith and development.
• Ability to work in various classroom settings and remain adaptable.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to obtain background checks and any required certifications (CPR, First Aid, etc.).
• A willingness to integrate Christian values and teachings into everyday interactions.
