This is a dynamic dual-role position ideal for someone who enjoys both driving and working directly with children. As our School Bus Driver, you will safely transport students to and from school and field trips, while also helping in the classroom between van runs and on non-school days. When not driving, you will act as a support staff member—assisting teachers, providing breaks, and engaging with children in a caring and professional manner.

• Transportation Duties
  • Safely pick up and drop off students at designated locations
  • Follow all traffic laws and center safety policies
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues
  • Assist children with entering and exiting the vehicle safely
  • Build positive rapport with children and families
• Classroom Support Duties
  • Assist in classrooms as needed between driving shifts or during school closures
  • Provide teacher breaks and support with daily routines (e.g., snack, diapering, transitions)
  • Engage children in age-appropriate learning activities and play
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
  • Model positive behavior and support the center’s Christian-based values

• Valid CDL or V endorsement with school bus and passenger endorsements
• Clean driving record and commitment to safety
• Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting is a plus
• Ability to stay calm, focused, and friendly in busy environments
• Comfortable using GPS and adjusting to route changes
• Reliable, flexible, and team-oriented

Between 6:30 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday–Friday. Split shifts typical (morning and afternoon runs), with classroom support during mid-day or full-day on non-school days.
