Machine Operator

The Machine Operator maintains efficient operations of machines, including operation of filler, wash cycle, and tie-ins to silos.

• Reloads and maintains continuous operation, including loading of paper cartons/bottles and juices (including changing of silos).
• Obtains correct packaging materials and assists in record keeping of material usage.
• Performs CIP and wash cycles for machines, including silo CIP, filler CIP, and pressure wash areas, ensuring equipment readiness for the next run.
• Monitors quantities to match production schedule, completes efficiency paperwork, and checks weights of filled cartons and dye leaks.
• Completes all production paperwork accurately and timely.
• Monitors products for compliance with specifications and correct codes.
• Performs quality checks and testing as required by the Quality Department or management.
• Adjusts machinery for optimal production.
• Follows all company policies, procedures, and safety rules; maintains a clean work area.
• Performs routine quality checks on product (brix, codes, package types).
• Ensures machines operate at standard efficiency.
• Performs operator maintenance, including filling peroxide, changing filters, replacing defective u-cups, and maintaining fluid levels.
• Records production data, machine efficiency, and downtime to meet the schedule.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or equivalent, or
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Prolonged standing, walking, stooping, climbing, and lifting tools and materials.
• Ability to bend, squat, reach, and stretch.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
