Performs clinical duties in an urgent care setting under the direction of the RN's and physicians. Responsible for rooming patients, obtainingand documenting vital signs, administering injections and medications, performing EKGs and other point of care testing and treatments, triaging phone calls and electronic messages, and performing check out duties. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St.

Luke’s mission and values.

Education:High School Diplomaor equivalent

Experience:Previous medical assistantexperiencein vital sign accuracy, EKGs, medication administration, and immunizations
