DescriptionEco South Hattiesburg in Ellisville, MS, US is looking for a committed Front Load Driver to become part of their team. Responsibilities- Perform thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections on the vehicle as per Company guidelines to ensure all safety and operational aspects are in proper condition. Any safety concerns should be reported promptly.
- Drive the heavy truck safely on the designated route to the disposal site, following route instructions and servicing each customer as assigned.
- Utilize manual or automatic controls according to safety protocols to lift and load refuse, operate the compactor, and dispose of collected materials correctly.
- Maintain professional and timely interactions with customers, dispatchers, and others on a daily basis to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Identify and address unsatisfactory waste containers following departmental procedures and monitor waste for unacceptable materials continuously.
- Clean up any accidental waste spills, adhering to safety standards, and ensuring the area is left clean.
- Monitor the vehicle's condition regularly to minimize downtime, cleaning waste from the packer blade and truck body as needed.
- Complete all necessary reports accurately and maintain productivity standards to ensure timely customer service.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Demonstrate good customer service skills, time management, and follow‑through abilities while upholding company policies and safety standards.
- Take pride in work, strive to achieve goals, and promote a professional and cooperative work environment.
- Must hold a Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s License.
- Two Years of prior experience operating a commercial vehicle is required.
- Must successfully complete pre‑employment DOT drug screen, physical, background check, and clean MVR.
