Job Summary
Ellsworth Adult & Community Education is seeking a dedicated and engaging Part‑Time Adult Education Teacher to provide English language and essential skills instruction for adult Multilingual Learners (MLLs). This is a great opportunity for an educator passionate about working with diverse adult populations and making a meaningful impact on their lives.
Approximately 8 hours per week during evening hours for roughly 30 weeks following a school year schedule.
Responsibilities- Teach English language and essential skills to adult MLLs.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver instruction in accordance with school schedules.
- Assess student progress and adapt instruction as needed.
- Experience teaching adult learners.
- Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity.
- Preparation of engaging lesson plans.
