True North Anesthesia (formerly Nurse Anesthesia of Maine) is an anesthesia services company providing services at 15 facilities. Our business‑partner hospitals include a Level II Trauma Center, community and critical access hospitals, and ambulatory surgery centers. Maine Coast Memorial Hospital, one of these locations, offers a collaborative, supportive practice setting in a 4‑OR facility with labor & delivery, orthopedics, GYN, urology, endo, ENT, and general surgery cases.

This facility offers 10‑hour days and is ideal for those looking to work just 4 days a week. Benefit considerations for National Guard CRNAs.

• BSN from an approved school of nursing
• Graduate from an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program (AANA Council)
• Master’s in Nurse Anesthesia (preferred)
• AANA Certification and/or Board Eligibility (must complete boards within six months of hire)

• Commitment to continuous improvement in self, others, and processes
• Completion of an intense “on‑the‑job” training program
• Experience with central lines, spinals, and labor epidurals is required
• Experience with healthy pediatrics is preferred
• Experience with ultrasound‑guided blocks is preferred (training available on the job)

• ACLS required
• BLS required
• PALS required
• NALS recommended

• Current State of Maine RN license
• Advanced Practice License (ME)
• Compliance with biennial recertification as a CRNA as defined by the AANA Council on Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists

• Adherence to AANA Code of Ethics
