Product Research and Strategy Analyst at McMaster-Carr
We are currently seeking a Product Research & Strategy Analyst to research products and suppliers to identify product additions and merchandising changes that support our product strategy.
Responsibilities- Conducting product research, including leading supplier conversations
- Making product addition recommendations tied to our customers and product strategy
- Describing the product specifications and benefits that support product additions
A bachelor’s degree and technical proficiency in Microsoft Suite are required. Strong candidates should possess strong critical thinking and basic project management skills, along with research ability. We also value experience with or interest in learning about products, including understanding how they work and their mechanical details.
Nice to have:
Technical skills demonstrating an interest in the physical world (e.g. machining, 3D printing, woodworking, etc.).
Total cash compensation ranges from $148,500 - $170,500, which includes annual cash profit sharing based on company profitability.
