Early Childhood Teacher

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education

Minimum 2 years of experience in a licensed childcare center

Strong organizational skills

The ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficient computer and technology skills

Effective and efficient time management

First Aid/CPR training will be provided

Responsibilities:

● Develop and maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment

Implement Reggio Emilia philosophies and Project Approach

Utilize curricular resources

● Maintain regular parent/guardian communication

● Follow all safety and health guidelines

● Support organizational mission, philosophies, values, goals, and policies

● Communicate with your colleagues through collaboration and curricular planning.

Employ developmentally appropriate classroom management techniques

Engage in respectful communication with students, families, and colleagues

Integrate technology to enhance learning within the classroom.

Document educational experiences and display children's work in a manner that highlights student learning

Demonstrate professionalism in conduct, appearance, and practice

Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands:

● Ability to lift and carry children up to 50 pounds
