We're currently seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support the PreK-EC population of a small caseload in the Elmhurst, IL area for the  school year.

Qualifications:

Master's Degree in School PsychologyPEL having the School Psychology Endorsement

Role Overview :

A School Psychologist assists students with academic, social, and emotional well-being and works with students and families to promote student success. The School Psychologist is a critical member of the IEP team and is relied upon to provide insight and guidance to the team regarding student academic and behavioral functioning.

Job Details:

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 40 hours / week guaranteed (Lunch is paid)
Dates:
April 6 - May 21 (end of school year)
Setting: K-5 ages Daily hours 7:45 - 3:05 (2 days per week, 7:40-3:05, the other 3 days it's 8:00-3:05)
Estimated Caseload: 3 Re-evals due April/May and 2 Initials due April/May Progress monitoring: 3 with a potential to turn into an eval:4

In-person only

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct the screening and case studies for students transitioning from early intervention using Play-Based Assessment You will lead weekly child find team meetings where new student screening information is reviewed (Weekly SPED PLC - 30 min)
Monthly Tier ll and Tier lll meeting - 45 min Required to participate in MTSS and address any new open domains that arise from students who are referred through screening into classrooms
