Patient Service Rep - Primary Care & Walk-In Clinic
Location: 755 N York Rd, Elmhurst
Hours: 40 hours weekly (Monday-Friday, with weekend rotation as needed).

Hourly Pay Range: $18.38–$26.65 (based on experience and qualifications)

- Assist patients with timely and accurate pre‑registration, registration, order management, charge capture, cash collection, and medical information system entry.
- Collect, analyze, and record demographic, insurance, financial, and clinical data; screen for third‑party eligibility and enter medical necessity coding.
- Provide customer‑focused interactions to meet patient needs and explain revenue‑cycle expectations and payment options.
- High School or GED required.
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration/Management preferred.
- 2+ years of registration, scheduling, patient accounts, cash collections or customer service experience in a healthcare setting.
- Manual dexterity to operate office machines.
- Knowledge of health insurances, medical terminology and anatomy.
- Strong data entry and keyboarding skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bilingual skills (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license if duties involve off‑site locations.
