Resident Aide; RA

Park Place of Elmhurst is an elegant five-star community conveniently located across the street from Edward Elmhurst hospital. Here at Park Place of Elmhurst, we offer a continuum of care with the security of lifecare. Our residents also have access to assisted living, short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and memory support right on campus. We are seeking Resident Aide (RA), Full Time, 11:00PM-7:00AM to support carrying out our mission to deliver quality care to our residents!

• Assist in toileting, bathing, and daily grooming of assigned residents.
• Maintain a calm, pleasant living environment for the residents.
• Report and document changes in medical condition to the appropriate nurses on duty.
• Give and receive shift reports to ensure consistent medical care is delivered.
• Measure and record vital signs as necessary or instructed.
• Participates in life enriching activities for our residents.

• Previous experience in long‑term care.
• Must have a compassionate, empathetic and nurturing personality.
• Must truly have a desire to care for the elderly.
• Must be mature and career minded.
• Certified Nurse Assistant certification in the State of Illinois is a plus
