$35.35 - $54.79 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights:

Ultrasound Technologist II - Location:
Elmhurst Hospital, Elmhurst, IL - Full-Time, 40 hours weekly
- Hours:
2nd and 3rd shifts every weekend:
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings and overnights. 1 8 hour Holiday Shift required per year.
Under general supervision, using ultrasound equipment produces two-dimensional ultrasound images of internal organs for use by Radiologists in the diagnosis of disease and the study of malfunction of organs. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job. Explains procedure to patient, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.
What you will need:
- Education :
High School Diploma or GED. A minimum of an Associate's Degree or higher - Licenses/Certifications:
- Certified or proof of eligibility for certification (i.e., letter of eligibility issued by accredited school) by ARRT (S)(American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, Sonography) or ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography)
- Must be certified and currently registered as RDMS (OB or AB), RT(S), RT (VS), RVT, or RVS within twenty-four months of eligibility or 6 months of start date into position.
- Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Preferred Experience: Vascular, Breast, Abdomen, OB/GYN, MSK, and Pediatric experience
