TOPTAL CARE Inc is seeking a Sterile Processing Coordinator for a 13-week travel contract in Elmhurst, Illinois. This night shift leadership position is ideal for experienced and certified sterile processing professionals ready to oversee and coordinate the central sterile supply operations in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

• Oversee and coordinate daily sterile processing workflow and production activities.
• Decontaminate, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and trays.
• Ensure strict compliance with infection control, safety, and sterilization standards.
• Conduct quality checks and maintain accurate sterilization records.
• Provide mentorship and training to sterile processing staff.
• Communicate effectively with surgical, nursing, and support teams to meet instrument and supply demands.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Certified Sterile Processing Technician.
• Active BLS and CRCST or CSPDT certification required.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities with attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work independently and coordinate team operations during overnight hours.
• Knowledge of safety, compliance, and quality assurance protocols in a hospital environment.
