Residential Hospice is looking for volunteers with certified pet therapy dogs to visit our patients on Hospice care. Hospice pet therapy utilizes the natural bond between humans and animals to bring joy, humor, love, and companionship to those on the end‑of‑life journey. Pet therapy benefits patients by reducing feelings of loneliness and anxiety and encouraging patients to socialize. As a volunteer you will witness the amazing impact a dog can have on the lives of others, while the dog receives lots of loving attention.
