Patient Care Coordinator - Front Office Physical Therapy (Healthcare)

Doctors of Physical Therapy is seeking a full‑time Patient Care Coordinator for our Elmhurst clinic. Ideal candidate will be seeking longevity with a growing company, be a self‑starter, and possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, which are important in building relationships with patients and the community to create a welcoming environment.

• Greet patients
• Effectively communicate with patients, families, team members, clinicians and all departments
• Provide detailed instructions to patients for their visits
• Review and evaluate patient charts for data entry accuracy
• Work as a team to ensure an efficient working environment and timely calls to patients and referral sources
• Have familiarity with outpatient rehabilitation/medical services and medical terminology
• Answer phones
• Perform patient registration/data entry
• Carry out scanning/faxing and other clerical duties
• Collect copays and patient balances
• Manage patient scheduling (schedule management)
• Assist with patient care as needed
• Maintain strong organizational skills
• Understand insurance benefits

Must be available to work Monday‑Thursday 8:30 a.m.‑5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m.‑4:30 p.m.
