Patient Care Technician

The position involves providing patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in a healthcare setting. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, performing diagnostic tests such as EKGs and ultrasounds, assisting with patient admissions, discharges, and implementing care plans. Additionally, the role requires maintaining safety protocols, conducting hourly rounds, and offering emotional support to ensure a positive patient experience.

• Current CPR/BLS certification from AHA or ARC
• Completion of CNA training or clinical rotations preferred
• At least one year of relevant medical office experience
• Basic computer skills for charting and documentation
• Strong interpersonal, prioritization, collaboration, and adherence to instructions

• Assist with patient care and safety on assigned units
• Perform routine assessments and procedures
• Support patient admissions, discharges, and care planning
• Maintain a safe environment and provide emotional support
