Patient Care Technician

The position involves providing patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in a healthcare setting. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, performing diagnostic tests such as EKGs and ultrasounds, assisting with patient admissions, preparing for discharge, and implementing care plans. The role also requires maintaining safety protocols, conducting hourly patient rounds, offering emotional support, and ensuring a safe, high-quality patient experience.

• Current CPR/BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Completion of CNA training or nursing clinical rotation preferred
• At least one year of relevant experience in a medical environment
• Basic computer skills for documentation and charting
• Strong interpersonal, prioritization, collaboration, and adherence to instructions
