Job Description
PRIDESTAFF is currently seeking a skilled Assembler for a manufacturing company located in Elmhurst, IL. This role would include hands-on assembly ranging from simple to moderately complex, as well as packaging and labeling of products.
1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm
$16-$19 per hour DOE
This is a TEMP-TO-HIRE position!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build, test, calibrate components and/or assemblies to meet tolerances and product specifications
- Use hand and power tools to build products to specifications
- Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages
- Clean parts to established procedures
- Clock in/out of production software, claiming completed and scrap pieces
- Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes according to established procedures
- Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
- Place finished goods in the designated area
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Perform other functions as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- MUST be able to read blueprints and work orders to perform work as indicated
- High school diploma or GED
- One to two years experience in manufacturing/production setting
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- Ability to work with small, delicate components
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to understand and follow safety procedures
- Must be Punctual and Reliable
