Job Description

Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Practitioner in the Progressive Critical Care Unit at our Elmhurst, IL hospital.

    2 12‑hour shifts per week, including every 3rd weekend

What You Will Do
  • Perform thorough assessments of critically ill patients, evaluating their clinical status, history, and lab results to identify issues or complications.
  • Develop individualized care plans based on assessment.
  • Monitor and manage life‑threatening conditions.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care.
  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and possible outcomes.
What You Will Need
  • Education:

    Bachelor of Science in Nursing & RN license.
  • Certification: AGACNP Certification preferred.
  • Experience:

    Critical care experience preferred.
