Job DescriptionExciting opportunity for an PA to join our urology team in Elmhurst and Naperville, IL. This PA will practice along the continuum of care to support one of our urologists. This is a hybrid role with surgery, in-patient, and office-based job duties. The team would also consider an APN to work in the office and for inpatient rounding without OR.
Under the direction of a physician, provides urology care to patients. Obtains detailed history and performs physical examinations, orders imaging, lab tests and diagnostic procedures and interprets results. Instructs patients on the prescribed therapeutic regimen and pre/post operative instructions. Maintains records and writes progress notes on status, treatments and procedures. Collaborates with physicians and the health care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Develops a comprehensive plan of care that includes interventions and treatments. Prescribes pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies as appropriate. Demonstrates evidence-based practice. Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of standards of practice in the specialty. Provides staff education as indicated. Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of service line goals. Supports the strategic plan of the organization. Adheres to all Endeavor Health policies and procedures.

- Hours:
7A-4P Monday-Friday, rotating weekend rounding. Consideration would also be given to four, 10-hour shifts rather than Monday-Friday. - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
- PAs – NCCPA certification required.
- APNs – graduation from an accredited program.
- Experienced candidate preferred but will consider new grads.
- Current IL PA license, current IL PA controlled substance license, current DEA certification, and current CPR.
