Registered Nurse – Emergency Department – Nights

Join Endeavor Health as a Registered Nurse – Emergency Department – Nights. This full‑time position is located at Elmhurst Main Hospital and requires 36 hours per week on a night shift (7:00 pm‑7:00 am) with every third weekend and rotating holidays.

Hourly Pay Range
: $36.00 – $55.80, based on experience and qualifications.

What You Will Need
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing
Required Education, Skills and Experience
  • Requires 1+ years of experience in the emergency department unit
  • Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
  • If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of the position start date
Required License and Certification
  • Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
  • Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within three months of position start date
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within three months of position start date
  • Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS) within three months of position start date
What You Will Do

Provides professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. Employs critical thinking skills, assesses patients’ condition, recognizes changes, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients’ progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff and functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
