Position: Line Cook - Full Time

Line Cook

Senior Living Management is recruiting a Line Cook for The Roosevelt at Salt Creek. This position is responsible for full‑scope, hands‑on production cooking in the Community Culinary Services Department. Duties include maintaining a superior level of quality, service, and cleanliness at all times.

Compensation

Base pay range: $18.75/hr – $24.00/hr salary will be based on skills and experience.

Responsibilities
  • Exemplify community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and operational organization.
  • Adhere to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards.
  • Produce and serve menu cycle programs that comply with required nutritional/dietary criteria and local regulations, correctly preparing diets per policy and procedure.
  • Exhibit cooking standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in all areas of cooking preparation and production.
  • Assist with serving meals and ware washing as necessary.
  • Visit residents periodically to evaluate food service quality, quantity, temperature, and appearance; conduct evaluations to make revisions in operations/procedures to improve service.
  • Represent the community in a warm and inviting manner, creating a positive marketing environment.
  • Support creating a culture where business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top‑line revenue and occupancy.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma.
  • Culinary degree preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of restaurant or senior living or equivalent cooking experience.
Shift and Schedule

Part‑time with weekend and evening rotations.
