• Bag groceries at checkout for customers, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assist in removing merchandise from bascarts for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to shelves, gather and return bascarts, and clean spills, trash, and all store areas.
• Handle seasonal merchandise, understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks.
• Reinforce safety programs, comply with safety procedures, and report unsafe conditions.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Create a welcoming environment, answer questions, and assist customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Follow all laws, regulations, and company guidelines.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment, manage conflicts, and act with honesty and integrity.
• Follow directions, seek assistance when needed, and support customers and colleagues.
