We're looking for a National Account Manager to build strong relationships with assigned national accounts and serve as a dedicated point of contact for their local and regional teams. In this role, you'll work closely with our OEM partner, Daimler (DTNA), their National Account Managers, support teams, and Trans Chicago's location leaders to coordinate the parts, service, and aftermarket support for key customers.

Through regular customer visits and proactive communication, you'll help ensure we're meeting customer expectations, share successes and opportunities for improvement, and develop plans to grow each account.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Develop strong rapport with local branches of national accounts.
• Strengthen relationships with DTNA's National Account Managers and customers.
• Understand customers' current purchasing habits with other vendors and create opportunities to align Trans Chicago offerings with their needs.
• Travel to national accounts' headquarters and other locations to visit customers, attend vendor meetings, and strengthen partnership with DTNA.
• Develop and maintain strong lines of communication with Trans Chicago locations and customers to ensure prompt resolution of customer needs.
• Maintain and leverage our CRM to track account activity and support proactive outreach.
• Create opportunities to collaborate with other DTNA partners, including suppliers, to deepen trust with and expand support for customers.
• Develop quarterly sales growth plans for each account, identify growth opportunities, and establish clear initiatives to achieve targets.
• Work with dealership locations to assist with back-ordered parts.
• Assist with the collection of past due accounts, as requested.
• Other duties assigned by management.

Education and/or required experience:

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• 5+ years of inside or outside sales experience
• Must be comfortable speaking to C-suite and other Executive-level stakeholders.
• Customer-focused mindset with a strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook

Compensation & Benefits:

• Compensation: $100,000-$140,000 base salary plus a monthly bonus based on performance. Compensation will be determined based on experience, competencies, certifications, and education.
