Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a dynamic retail and mall environment, where you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and staff. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the location, maintaining a visible presence to help prevent unwanted activity, and delivering exceptional customer service through professional communication and assistance.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or hazards to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials when necessary
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established protocols and assisting with crowd management or evacuation procedures as directed
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only
