Job Summary:
Since 1954, Sall Myers Medical Associates has provided ethical and caring treatment to the injured of New Jersey. We specialize in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with orthopedic and neurological injuries. The ideal candidate will be a skilled clinician with a strong understanding of documentation and case management required for medico-legal cases and NJ PIP, working in a collaborative environment with our medical staff to provide exceptional patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Perform comprehensive chiropractic examinations, including orthopedic and neurological tests, on patients involved in personal injury and workers' compensation cases.
- Develop, implement, and manage evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient's injuries.
- Provide high-quality chiropractic care, including spinal adjustments, manual therapies, and therapeutic modalities.
- Maintain meticulous, timely, and accurate patient documentation to support medical necessity and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated patient care.
- Communicate examination findings, treatment plans, and patient progress to patients, attorneys, and insurance carriers.
- Prepare detailed narrative reports and may be required to provide depositions or expert testimony.
- Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from an accredited chiropractic college.
- Current and unrestricted license to practice in New Jersey.
- Minimum of 2+ years of clinical experience (preferred).
- Verifiable experience in treating personal injury and workers' compensation cases is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of PI/WC documentation, billing, and the medico-legal process.
- Excellent manual adjustment and diagnostic skills.
