Job Description:
Own the strategy, tooling, governance, and execution of ELLKAY’s web‑based training (WBT) program for internal teams and customers. Translate product workflows and documentation into an engaging, role‑based curriculum that improves onboarding, reduces support burden, and enables monetizable training offerings. Partner closely with the Technical Writer to align scripts, glossary, accessibility, and release cadence.
BASE- Define WBT strategy, curriculum map, learning objectives, governance, templates, and standards.
- Evaluate and stand up the LMS (or interim distribution) and author workflows (e.g., Articulate 360/Captivate); target SSO and basic analytics.
- Deliver 4–6 pilot WBT modules for internal launch; establish KPIs and dashboards.
- Build and manage a vendor/contractor bench; set budget, timelines, and QA gates.
- Partner with the Technical Writer to align scripts, glossary/terminology, accessibility, and brand.
- Launch external/customer‑facing training with role‑based learning paths; add assessments, certifications, and recertification cycles.
- Operationalize analytics and reporting (attach rate, ticket deflection, time‑to‑productivity, renewal lift); iterate based on feedback and support trends.
- Create internal enablement kits for Sales, Delivery, and Support (decks, quick references, recorded demos).
- Establish content lifecycle and versioning tied to product releases.
- Integrate WBT with a documentation portal and support channels for a unified learning experience.
- Scale the catalog across platforms and products; monetize training where appropriate.
- Manage a small team as the program expands.
- Own WBT strategy, roadmap, and budget; align with product priorities and release cadence.
- Select, implement, and administer the LMS; manage user provisioning, SCORM, xAPI, and/or cmi5 packaging, and reporting.
- Lead instructional design: convert workflows into storyboards, scripts, and course outlines; produce tutorial videos and micro‑learning assets.
- Establish and enforce accessibility (WCAG/ADA) and brand standards; maintain a shared glossary with the Technical Writer.
- Manage vendors/contractors; set SLAs, QA processes, and content governance.
- Track engagement and outcomes; publish KPI dashboards and improvement plans.
- Maintain source files, templates, and reusable components for scale.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years building and managing eLearning/WBT for software products; portfolio of shipped modules.
- 2+ years owning program strategy and/or leading vendors/contractors; LMS administration experience.
- Hands‑on expertise with Articulate 360 (Storyline/Rise) or Adobe Captivate; strong understanding of SCORM, xAPI, and/or cmi5 and accessibility.
- Strong instructional design, visual communication, and writing skills; comfort working from technical documentation.
