The Assistant Football Coach is responsible for specifically designated aspects of the football program, exercises independent judgment in providing technical expertise in the fundamentals of the sport, teaching student‑athletes basic and advanced skills, and assisting the Head Football Coach in management of the team through recruiting, program development, fund‑raising, promotional activities, and related assigned responsibilities. The Assistant Football Coach guides and mentors student‑athletes throughout the academic year.

Bachelor's degree in any relevant field of study with minimum 1 year of experience with the following relevant work experience:
At least two years of experience in coaching at the intercollegiate level is strongly preferred, however, extensive player experience at the collegiate level can be substituted for the coaching experience. Coaching experience in a NCAA Division I level program is preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations governing recruitment, eligibility and related functions is also preferred.

Master's degree in any relevant field of study.
