Dental care in a correctional setting is challenging and rewarding. It offers fulfilling opportunities for Dentists to sharpen their clinical skills, utilize cutting‑edge technology, and actively manage patients free from many of the bureaucratic processes found in traditional health care settings. Correctional Dental Associates has the following opportunity:

• The Dentist is responsible for professional dental care for inmates.
• Performs routine dental treatment including examining teeth and gums for cavities, infections and diseases; takes necessary x-rays; performs fillings and extractions as warranted.
• Develops, coordinates and supervises the facility dental program to include advising and instructing inmates in the cause and prevention of dental disease.
• Must have active Arizona license and DEA with no restrictions.

La Palma Correctional Center is in Eloy, AZ. Eloy is in West Central Pinal County, approximately 50 miles from Tucson and 65 miles from Phoenix. It houses male inmates. It has a full clinic with day provider coverage, 24‑hour nursing coverage. The clinic has a dental staff, mental health staff and medical staff.
