Provides nursing care to patients in an Observation/Progressive Care Unit (PCU), including patients requiring close monitoring for acute or changing conditions. Performs comprehensive assessments, administers treatments, monitors patient status, and coordinates care with the healthcare team.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
• 1–2 years of PCU, observation, telemetry, medical-surgical, or acute care nursing experience preferred.
• Experience caring for patients requiring continuous cardiac and clinical monitoring is preferred.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required or preferred based on facility requirements.

• Perform comprehensive assessments and continuously monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and changes in patient condition.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, treatments, and other prescribed interventions safely.
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in condition and clinical emergencies.
• Coordinate patient care with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatments, medications, recovery, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow infection control, patient safety, and quality standards.
